• Passing of Rachel Goldring z'l

  We are saddened by the passing of Rachel Goldring, daughter of our members Arlene and Dr. Abraham Shulman. The funeral will be held on Friday, February 10th at 9:30 AM at Plaza Jewish Community Chapel, 630 Amsterdam Avenue, in Manhattan (at 91st St.). Burial will be at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Queens.

  There is a change in the Shiva for Rachel Goldring. Shiva will not be observed at the Shulman home on Monday. Shiva will be observed Tuesday and Wednesday at the Shulman home, 85-08 210th St. in Hollis Hills, in the evening. Minyan Tuesday will be at 8 PM. The phone number is (718) 465-3383.

• Passing of Ida Kotlyar z'l

  We are saddened by the passing of Ida Kotlyar, mother of our member Natalie Kotlyar Zabib. The funeral will be held on Thursday, January 26th at 10:15 AM at Sinai Chapels on the Horace Harding Expressway. Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Glendale, Queens.

  Natalie will observe shiva at 82-18 215th Street in Hollis Hills. The phone number is 718-468-1191. Ma’ariv will be on Thursday at 8 PM. Shiva will be observed on Sunday from 1-7 PM. Mincha and Ma’ariv at 4:45 PM.

• Passing of Natalie Pearlman z'l

  We are saddened by the passing of Natalie Pearlman, our long time center member and wife of our past president Morty Pearlman. The funeral will be held on Friday, December 30th at 10:30 AM graveside at Old Montifiore Cemetery in Springfield Gardens.

• Passing of Howard Halpern z'l

  We are saddened by the passing of Howard Halpern, father of our member Brett Halpern. The funeral will be held on Friday, December 30th at 9:00 AM at Sinai Chapels, on the Horace Harding Expressway. Burial will be at Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Flushing.

  Shiva will be held at the home of Brett’s mother, Roberta Halpern, 75-55 196th Place in Fresh Meadows until Shabbat and from Saturday night through Thursday morning. Minyan information will follow.
